After getting up, the breakfast. I don’t take anything but some hot coffee.
Then we go to the Temple with Mani and Mohan. We first pass by Yogi’s house and take pictures and video. Then we go to the temple to make our devotions, then go and join the sadhu for a common departure to Sudama.

We arrive there at 7 :00 am exactly. We are told: “Swamiji has come back late yesterday. He will receive you at 10:00.”
Then, in the waiting, we go to the Ramanashram, again by car. It is at that moment that I see that my pant is full of cow dung. The cow dung comes from the video-bag that I have put on my keens! I say that I have to go to change clothes. Sadhu and Mohan get off the car at the Ramanashram while Mani and me go back to Brindravan Hotel. I put water. But pants are completely wet. So, Mani lends me a languti. We go back to Ramanashram and do parikarma.

Then we go back in the car and do pradakshina around Arunachala. When we have reached the opposite side, we stop and enter the temple to get the darshan of the god and of the goddess. After going out of the temple, we go to the covered stall where Yogi had the habit to stay, and there we take something hot, as well as pictures and video.
We return to the hotel. I go to get 3 coffees for others, then I buy the newspaper.
Now it’s 10 to 10:00. We sit in the car and present ourselves at Sudama at 10:00. 4 whites are waiting at the gate. We ring the bell and the gate opens for us. The four whites are asked to come back after one hour, around 11:00. We come in, followed by 2 men and 2 women, among them is Ganeshan, Ramana Maharshi’s grand nephew.
We wait for about half and hour, then we are introduced to Yogiji. First Rangarajan prostrates and sits near Swamiji. Then I prostrate. Yogi pats my back strongly. Yogi smiles. I take my seat.
Once all of us are seated, the four other persons are introduced. Ganeshan has come with a parcel countaining three shawls, parcels that he offers Yogiji, saying:
- This was offered by Yogiji’s devotees on the day of His jayanti.
- What else ? Yogi asks.
- Ganeshan : I would wish to get one, given by You with Your blessing.
