Yogi Ramsuratkumar loved to give things to the people around him. Flower , garland, Prasad in many forms like cooked food, bananas, apples , oranges, coconuts, limes, rock candy, sweets.
Will Zulkowski often like to share this story
“I remember a lot of times we would go and buy big bags of puffed rice for swami. It was very funny because Swami was staying at one of the little shops that closed at night, and he carried this bag of rice around. There was a little mouse that came every night to get the puffed rice, and swami just laughed, you know. That was so cute, this little mouse. Anybody else would have freaked out with a mouse eating from their food, but he would just say in joy “Oh, we have a visitor now.” He will also make sure that little mouse not being disturbed.
When Will Zulkowski told Yogi Ramsuratkumar that he had protested the Vietnam war in the states, had been a conscientious objector, and was in fact thrown jail for it, the beggar said that he felt the antiwar people were very courageous and did a great service to humankind. Yogi Ramsuratkumar felt that American mistakenly getting involved in Vietnam, because it interfered with a Peoples’ own determination.

The prayer written by sankaracharya of Kanchipuram for the United Nations in 1966 reflects a great deal about why the beggar focused so much concern and attention on global mankind. Look upon others as thyself.
Renounce war, foreswear competition.
Give up aggressions on others, which is wrong.
Wide mother earth, our mother is here, ready to give as all our desires.
We have the Lord, our Father, compassionate to all.
Thee people of the world, restrain yourselves, be kind.

| I had a wonderful experience, when I first met Yogiji at Theradi (RATH) Street in Tiruvannamalai sometime in 1983, when I was in early twenties, which cannot be expressed in words, only one can experience. His laughter in between conversation with people, that is wonderful and HE removes all the sufferings and one feels very light. Chant Sri Yogi Ram Surat Kumar Jaya Guru Raya. His Blessing is always to all people. Please Chant Yogi Ram Surat Kumar Jaya Guru Raya always. |

| Yogi Ramsuratkumar smiles like a child. But he is our father. I feel his presence. he walks along with me. He stands wherever I want him to be. He stops me from doing any thing which would result in danger. I see him always when I close my eyes. |
